The report on natural cosmetics survey
INTRODUCTION
This report presents the result of a survey on natural cosmetics involving 2nd year female students. It focuses on the purpose, the assumptions, the findings and personal comments. It was written by a student at the request of the ITS English teacher.
PURPOSE
The main aim of the survey was to find out how many young people are aware of the benefits of natural cosmetics and how widespread their use is.
ORGANISATION
The survey was divided into two parts and sent to the students. The first set of questions concerned awareness of the importance of natural products and asked mainly for opinions on the topic, while the rest was about the prevalence of the use of various naturally produced hygiene products in the homes of participants.
ASSUMPTION
It was assumed that the students were unaware of the beneficial effects of quality products on the body and well-being, used whatever they had on hand at the time and did not check the ingredients contained in the cosmetics.
THE FINDINGS
The results confirmed the hypotheses. Most girls are completely unaware of the damage that comes with artificial cosmetics and recklessly use make-up, creams and shampoos that their mother use. The few percent who use natural products do so purely as a result of parenthal awareness, not as a matter of personal judgement.
PERSONAL COMMENTS
Young people should be educated in this area and, as a consequence, start to limit the use of harmful chemicals. In school, we could spend an hour learning about the most common toxic substances, the dastardly marketing industries and better affordable products that could effectively replace the current ones.
